Located in DC3540 of University of Waterloo’s Davis Centre, the HCI Lab serves as an office space for our graduate students, and a hub for collaboration. The lab was specifically designed with the needs of HCI research in mind. The new FIPS Facility (Fully Interactive Physio-digital Spaces) Staging Areas (DC3544 and DC2308) provide additional space for work on projects involving spatial augmented reality.
The student office space was also designed to support collaboration between lab members. The space is open, with no internal walls, nearly all furniture is movable, and each student has a personal workspace.
